Things I will never regret doing in my kitchen… Things I will never regret doing in my kitchen…

I think it’s safe to say we planned the kitchen so well I have very little regrets. I have some, but not a ton! I do love our kitchen and feel so excited to use it every day. Isn’t that what it’s all about? It’s functional and beautiful and I’m so excited to share more of it.

Here’s what we don’t regret and why:

🫒No upper cabinets in main visible areas of kitchen

Less is more. & in this particular kitchen, upper cabinets were not necessary. We have a ton of storage throughout so we opted for a clean look in the main areas of the kitchen and later on added two upper cabinets to the back corners of the kitchen!

🫒Drawers and hidden drawers

I love drawers and will never go back to traditional cabinets with doors if I don’t have to. They make organization a breeze and look super clean. I love the hidden utensil drawers in each cabinet!

🫒Dog water bowl station

Do I need to explain myself? Our dogs love it, and we love it even more! It keeps our floors clean and makes it super practical when we need to quickly fill up their bowls.

🫒Pantry cabinet (vs. closet)

This is another one I won’t do without in any kitchen I design. If we can have a traditional pantry closet, amazing, but having a pantry cabinet of sorts for your everyday items in the main area of the kitchen is so nice and easy to organize!

🫒Workstation Sink

This is another item I felt was a must. I hate seeing dishes pile up around the sink (even clean ones), so being able to limit that by having the integrated rack is SO nice. I’m also able to set my cutting board down for any messy chopping I need to do.

🫒 Pot filler

This one was not a must but I love that I have it. It’s nice to be able to fill my pots quickly and it looks so clean!

Now feels like the perfect time to open the doors, enjoy the breeze, and plan a few dinner parties. Honestly, opening up this wall has to be my favorite update we made to this home. 🤍

I got the European linen duvet + sheet set and I’m in love with the wrinkles believe it or not. It feels so relaxed, specially as someone that doesn’t always make her bed (guilty as charged).
