Project Bardfield

Project Bardfield was all about restraint and respect—enhancing the beauty that was already there without overwhelming it. This historic Dallas home came with layers of charm: hand-laid wood floors, stained glass windows, antique fireplaces, and even bedroom doors salvaged from the iconic Baker Hotel. Our role wasn’t to reinvent it, but to let it breathe. We focused on subtle updates—restoring the original floors, softening the palette with a bit of paint, and swapping in a few well-placed sconces and fixtures. The furnishings became a thoughtful blend of eras: we brought in both old and new pieces, many with stories of their own, to complement the home’s soulful character and timeless architecture. The result is a space that feels curated but never forced—classic, a little playful, and full of personality.
