This home office went from sad to (I’m sure) the This home office went from sad to (I’m sure) the envy of anyone on our client’s zoom calls! We were provided with a space that already had a moody vibe but lacked a lot of what the clients needed for their home office. Here’s what we did: ⛳️ Added floor to ceiling built-ins with integrated lighting and plenty of storage. Inside the cabinets we made sure to include drawers and shelves with hinges that pull out so the clients can hide away their printer or store heavy file storage containers without the need of sliding them out every time they need to access them! ⛳️ Making sure we used every inch of sq. footage was key. Making sure we made it all flow and look nice was even more important! We included a space for a white board, enough empty floor space for a yoga mat for those impromptu mid day exercise sessions, and additional lounge seating for guests! ⛳️ The office is one of the first rooms you see in the house, so making sure it felt warm and inviting was important. We added lots of cozy elements including light colored drapery to dress up the room white inviting a little bit of light in. ⛳️ Cable management. Need I say more? I don’t know about you but I definitely can’t work if there’s a mess around me! We added a floor outlet and carefully placed it where we could run an extension cord up to the desk we brought in. The desk had a notch for cables to go through, so it made for the perfect spot to hold as many monitors/laptops/etc needed. #cablemanagement #homeofficedecor #roomtransformation

Designed a couple of years ago and styled just over one year ago, I swoon over every detail because it’s truly a timeless room. Brought to life with so much care and attention to every. single. detail. ✨ Would you dedicate a spare room for movies & lounging?
